Environmental Systems Research Institute at the University of Osnabr\u00fcck in Germany made a research where it points out that this type of material has the ability to absorb toxic products found in the oceans such as pesticides, heavy metals and other types of persistent organic pollutants (POPs), which means that the damage to the health of biodiversity is much greater.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
