One of the critical points for collecting all sorts of dust as well as other allergen inducing bacteria is our own home. In this article, we talk about a few basic tips to keep our bedroom, bathroom or living room allergen-free.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For instance, if you are thinking about renovating your decor and a person is suffering from allergies in the house, choose leather couches (not upholstered) because they do not retain the dust. If you are thinking of renovating the shelves, choose models with glass doors so that books do not accumulate dust and increase your or your loved ones\u00a0spring allergies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2. Always use a humid clog to clean the dust off the furniture.<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

The reason for this is that the humid clog will trap the particles, while a dry towel will only spread them over the room air. It will also help to use a vacuum cleaner equipped with high capture filters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Carpets are an ideal home for dust mites, so if you want to be more rigorous, take advantage of the rise of the spring season to take them to a laundromat, so you can ensure they are completely mite-free.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

6. In extreme cases, animals should sleep outside the room.<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

If your pets are used to sleeping with you, keep them away during the pollen season, as they can carry dust particles in their bodies and fur, especially dogs. You should also take the opportunity to wash them more often.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If there is some vapour accumulating in the windows, dry them with paper, do the same to the walls, in case you have tiles and small creases.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You should find out which days are more critical for allergy sufferers so that you can be prepared; During these days, it is best to avoid opening windows until sunset. Try not to dry your clothes outdoors on those days, as well, so as not to trap the pollen particles in them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

9. If you have air conditioners, clean your filters and pipes regularly using specific products.<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

This is something we always ignore, forgetting that filters collect all the dirt in the house air and are critical to the quality of the air we breathe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
